1. Information We Collect

Real Simple Leads users:

Business name, owner name, email address, and phone number provided at signup
Customer contact information entered into the platform
SMS message content sent through the platform
Payment information processed through Stripe
Usage data and platform activity logs

Demo line callers: If you call our demo line to try a pricing tier, we collect your phone number, the tier you selected, your spoken name (if you opt in to receive a sample text), and the timestamp of your consent. This information is used solely to send the one-time sample message you requested and is not used for any other marketing purpose without additional consent.

Real Simple Expenses users:

Name, email address, phone number, and password provided at account creation
Receipt photos submitted via SMS or direct upload
Expense records including amounts, vendors, categories, and dates
GPS location data collected during actively tracked mileage trips
Mileage trip records including distances and calculated deduction amounts
Google Drive OAuth credentials if you connect your Google account for receipt backup
Payment information processed through Stripe
Usage data and account activity logs

2. How We Use Your Information

Real Simple Leads:

To provide and operate the Real Simple Leads platform
To send SMS and voice communications on behalf of your business to your customers
To process payments and manage your subscription
To send you account-related notifications and service updates
To improve our platform and troubleshoot issues

Real Simple Expenses:

To process receipt photos and extract expense data using AI (Anthropic Claude)
To track and calculate business mileage deductions using GPS data
To sync receipt photos to your connected Google Drive account
To generate and export expense reports for tax purposes
To send receipt confirmation and account alert SMS messages (if you have opted in)
To process payments and manage your subscription

3. SMS Communications

We do not sell, share, or rent your phone number or your customers' phone numbers to third parties. Phone numbers collected through our platform are used solely to deliver the SMS services you have requested.

Real Simple Leads: SMS message content and phone numbers are used exclusively to send automated missed call text-back messages, deliver job status updates and ETA notifications, send invoices and payment requests, and facilitate two-way customer communication. All SMS traffic is processed through Twilio under their privacy policy and A2P 10DLC compliance requirements. Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

Real Simple Expenses: If you opt in to text-in receipt logging, your mobile phone number is used to identify your account and receive inbound receipt photos that you send to our system. We send confirmation messages and account alerts in response. This feature is entirely optional. You may disable it at any time in your account Settings or by replying STOP to any message. GPS location data collected during mileage tracking is used solely to calculate trip distances and is not shared with third parties.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share information only with:

Twilio: For SMS and voice call processing (both platforms)
Stripe: For payment processing (both platforms)
Anthropic: For AI-powered features including call transcription and job intake (Real Simple Leads) and receipt photo analysis and expense categorization (Real Simple Expenses), under confidentiality agreements
Google: For Google Drive integration to store receipt photos (Real Simple Expenses, only if you connect your Google account)
Law enforcement: When required by law or valid legal process

5. Data Retention

Real Simple Leads: We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Customer message history is retained for 12 months.

Real Simple Expenses: Expense records, receipt photos, and mileage trip data are retained for as long as your account is active. You may export your data at any time from within the app. Receipt photos stored in your connected Google Drive account are subject to your own Google account retention settings and remain under your control.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure password hashing, and access controls to protect your data.
